The Courage to Be Authentic
Detailed Programme
To be authentic requires courage
- The courage to stand up for your truth even if it is not popular
- The courage to express your truth even at the risk of conflict
- The courage to face the threat of losing loved instead of giving
up one's deeper truth
- The courage to overcome the basic need of belonging if the fulfilment
of one's life's purpose requires it
This existential need of belonging for most people turns out to
be the biggest challenge when facing the choice to live up to other's expectations
or to follow one's own path. Choosing one's own path requires courage and
strength to walk alone, if necessary, to say good-bye to relationships
that no longer serve you and the confidence to open up for new encounters.
This course aims at strengthening your courage, strength and inner
trust to follow your own path. We will focus on the following themes:
- I seek the source of unconditional love within myself and share
it with others
- I live my life with integrity and I maintain it through all my
challenges
- I acknowledge other's needs, recognise what is of value in it
and communicate this
- I am totally acceptable to others even if I am authentic
- I explore new and different movements on the physical, emotional,
mental and spiritual level to expand my range of options
- I allow plenty of laughter in my life even knowing that this
will force me to let go of my rigid control and to spontaneously express
my feelings of joy
- Instead of living up to everybody's expectations, I choose to
live with emotional and mental balance, compassion, love and acceptance
- Creative energy flows within and through my relationships
- I feel abundant in myself. Out of this abundance I give encouragement
to others in their work and life
- I am grateful for the gift of this life
